The Environmental Working Group is an American activist group that specializes in research and advocacy in the areas of agricultural subsidies, toxic chemicals, drinking water pollutants, and corporate accountability.
The Environmental Working Group’s mission is to “empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment. With breakthrough research and education, we drive consumer choice and civic action.” The EWG focuses on farming and the environment, food sources, water supply and much more.
